The Role of Social Media Manager
As a Social Media Manager at Coastal Innovations, you will play a key role in shaping our online presence and engaging with our community. You will be responsible for creating, curating, and managing published content (images, video, written, and audio) across various platforms to maximize our brand exposure and increase customer engagement. You will have the opportunity to work closely with various teams to align our social media strategy with company goals and drive our community involvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and manage our social media strategy aligned with business goals.
- Create engaging content that resonates with our target audience and drives interaction.
- Oversee the day-to-day management of social media accounts on platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and TikTok.
- Monitor and analyze social media performance metrics, adjusting strategy as needed to achieve optimal results.
- Collaborate with marketing, PR, and customer service teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding.
- Manage social media advertising campaigns to promote our products and community events.
- Engage with followers, respond to inquiries, and foster a positive online community.
- Research industry trends and keep up-to-date with changes in social media algorithms to maintain a competitive edge.
- Explore new platforms and technologies to expand our reach and improve engagement.
- Organize and execute social media campaigns that drive community interaction and brand awareness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in social media management or a related role.
- Proficient understanding of social media platforms, analytics tools, and best practices.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and bring fresh ideas to the table.
- Experience with social media advertising and budget management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
